“Resonanzen II – Kunst im Dialog mit der Musik” presents a group exhibition of regional artists that places visual art in dialogue with music. Edith Blitz, Lothar Blitz, Alexandra Hiller, Gabriele Henrich, Ose Stark, Regine Staudt, Veronika Wallner, Brigitte Hannig, Florian Hannig, Fritz Haselbeck and Christiane Binder engage with music and translate sounds, rhythms and moods into colours, forms and materials. The contemporary works are complemented by selected pieces from the art collection of the district of Freyung-Grafenau, including Wolf Hirtreiter’s bronze “Harfenspielerin”, which adds a twentieth-century perspective on music. The exhibition follows on from “Resonanzen” at the Europahaus and focuses on regional art in and around the district of Freyung-Grafenau. It is on view from 4 July to 20 September 2026 at Galerie Wolfstein im Schloss Wolfstein, Wolfkerstraße 3, 94078 Freyung.
