The exhibition “From Romanticism to Art Nouveau – The Horse in 19th-Century Art” at the Decentralised City Museum Warendorf (Historic Town Hall, Markt 1, 48231 Warendorf) presents paintings and sculptures that document the horse as a status symbol and recurring motif in 19th-century art. The show is part of a four-museum cooperative programme for the 200th anniversary of the North Rhine-Westphalia stud and runs in Warendorf from 03.05.2026 to 16.08.2026. Admission to the presentation at the Historic Town Hall is free.
