Portraits are more than a likeness – they tell of identity, memory and the way people are seen. The exhibition GESICHT ZEIGEN brings together works from the artothek of the Warburg Museumsverein, supplemented by pieces from the museum collection and contemporary positions. Young artists have also created new works specifically for the presentation. The exhibition offers a view of the portrait in flux – as a mirror of humanity and an invitation to look more closely. It runs from 20 September to 22 November 2026 at the Museum im „Stern“. Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday 14:30–17:00. Admission is free.
