The exhibition Druckfrisch from the Twenties – Insights into China’s Modernism at MARKK in Hamburg leads to an era of profound change after the end of the Empire. Between September 19, 2025 and July 12, 2026, it shows how technical innovations and a new visual culture shaped life in the 1920s and 30s. The focus is on prints from a globally unique collection, which can be seen for the first time in this selection.
