The exhibition »Parkomania« at the Jenisch Haus in Hamburg is devoted to the historical development of the site in Klein Flottbek, which was designed by Caspar Voght as an Ornamental Farm from 1785. Voght combined agricultural use with aesthetic garden art in the style of English landscape parks and thus set standards for advanced agriculture. After being acquired by Martin Johan Jenisch in 1828, the complex transformed into a classic landscape park that continues to shape the region to this day. The presentation highlights the transformation from a functional farm to an artfully designed parkland and its importance for garden art and social history.
