The permanent exhibition at the Paulskirche in Frankfurt focuses on a place that is closely linked to the history of German democracy. In the Wandelhalle, the building’s history of construction and use is unfolded in six stations, complemented by a view of the Frankfurt National Assembly and its constitutional history. Further focuses are the debate culture of the past decades and the question of what role the Paulskirche can play as a place of democracy in the future. The presentation is modern and digital; it has been on view since June 2022 and is designed as a permanent exhibition.
