The presentation of the East Asia collection demonstrates the enduring inspirational power of Japanese design. On view are themes, materials and techniques including bamboo baskets, sword fittings, clothing, figurative representations and a tea room; light-sensitive works are regularly rotated and supplemented with contemporary perspectives.
