The permanent exhibition “MACHTUrlaub” places the history of the planned “KdF seaside resort on Rügen” within the social and propaganda policies of National Socialism. It examines the history of Prora’s construction and use, the idea of the National Socialist “people’s community”, as well as exclusion, social reality and propaganda in the “Third Reich”. Historical films, eyewitness interviews, audio stations and an accompanying film complement the presentation.
