The exhibition presents early analogue black-and-white photographs by the Romanian artist Radu Darvas from Viscri, or Deutsch-Weißkirch, in Transylvania. His sensitive observations of everyday life document the lives of the Transylvanian Saxons who remained there during the period of political transformation, while also revealing the profound changes brought about in the village by emigration and tourism.
