To mark the gallery’s 25th anniversary, the summer exhibition brings together outstanding works from the Bodenseekreis Collection in unusual constellations. Modern classics such as Otto Dix, Erich Heckel, Josef Albers and Max Bill encounter art from the Lake Constance–Upper Swabia region as well as works from the art prize competitions. Paintings, sculptures and photographs from the 19th century to the present open up new connections, contrasts and surprising affinities through thematic juxtapositions.
