Featuring around 120 works by approximately 40 artists, the permanent exhibition offers insights into more than 200 years of art and psychiatric history. Thematic sections address subjects including art and the experience of psychiatry, the history of psychiatry and everyday life in institutions around 1900, while the selection ranges from major historical works to more recent acquisitions. The presentation reveals how the contexts in which such works were created and perceived have changed, from the former notion of “institutional art” to Art Brut and Outsider Art.

Während gleichzeitig eine Sonderausstellung geöffnet ist: regulär 10 €, ermäßigt 7 €. Wenn ausschließlich die Dauerausstellung geöffnet ist: 7 €, ermäßigt 5 €. Freier Eintritt und weitere Ermäßigungen gemäß offizieller Besucherinformation.
