The special exhibition is devoted to the sacred sites, cults and rituals of the Sámi, the Indigenous people of northern Europe. Photographs by Monika Belting are combined with ethnographic documentary objects, staged representations of Sámi lifeworlds and taxidermy specimens, offering insights into the culture of reindeer herders and their respectful relationship with the landscape, plants and animals.
