Since 1995, Volker Kreidler’s long-term photographic project has documented the consequences of the Chornobyl nuclear disaster for people, places and nature. Images from the exclusion zone and Kyiv connect the invisible threat of radiation with questions of corruption, war and the resilience of the Ukrainian population.
