Carlos Casas approaches the Indonesian volcano Krakatoa as an ecological threshold, a living myth, and an archive of geological time. The immersive audiovisual installation follows the fisherman Kesuma on a journey from the sea through devastated landscapes and dense vegetation to the imagined interior of the Earth.
