The special exhibition offers an insight into the work of Israeli artist Perli Pelzig through paintings and sculptures. Pelzig lived and worked in Rotenburg from 1994 to 1996. The exhibition features primarily loans from private collections, as well as three paintings donated to the Cohn-Scheune; a photographic catalogue and a radio interview complement the presentation. Pelzig, who was deported during the National Socialist “Polenaktion” in 1938 and fled to Palestine in 1939, explored, among other subjects, outer space, horses and the human figure in his art.
