In the Terra-Sigillata Museum in Rheinzabern, a colorful mosaic of painted toilet scrolls is created, based on Roman mosaic art. Under the guidance of Christine Schneider-Zeiß, children cut the previously colorfully designed scrolls into small pieces and put them together into a living work of art. This creative project is part of the Roman Week 2026 and playfully promotes the understanding of ancient design techniques. The action is aimed at children aged 6 to 10 years and takes place on August 3, 2026.
