The figurative bronze sculptures of the German sculptor Dietrich Klinges appear archaic and contemporary at the same time. In the exhibition "Corespondentia assonare", the artist places his works in an epoch- and cross-cultural dialogue with historical artifacts and contemporary positions from his own collection. Transformation appears as a central artistic principle that makes bodies, forms and meanings experienceable as anthropological constants. Klinge conceives of sculpture as a carrier of memory, alterity and existential experience - as a continuous approach to the foreign in his own.
