The Museum Johanniskapelle in Gerolzhofen opens its doors for an extraordinary exhibition in which the past and the present mesh in a fascinating way. „Between Eternity and Moment combines contemporary positions with the impressive works of art of the Gothic period and creates an intensive dialogue about time and space. Selected paintings, sculptures, ceramics and sculptures by artists such as Thomas Hildenbrand, Franz Hitzler, Gerhard Rießbeck, herman de vries, and Heinrich Söller enter into an exciting exchange with the historical architecture and the Gothic exhibits of the Johanniskapelle. The works – on loan from Kunsthalle Schweinfurt – open up new perspectives on perception, transience and spiritual spaces.
