In the Von der Heydt Museum in Wuppertal, the exhibition Museum A to Z: From the beginning to the future opens up a view of the grown collection and its history. It combines retrospective and outlook and asks about the museum’s tasks between preserving, researching, exhibiting and conveying. Current topics such as diversity, digitalisation, decolonisation and participation are also brought into focus. Various collections are on display, including hardly known areas such as arts and artefacts and non-European objects, supplemented by works with references from Wuppertal. The exhibition runs from 11 January 2025 to 31 January 2027.
