With “Finally Beautiful Living”, the Feld-Haus – Museum für Popular Druckgrafik is dedicated to colored oil prints between kitsch, residential culture and museum treasure. Elves, deer, Madonna paintings and deceptively real facsimiles show how popular visual worlds moved into private spaces around 1900. The exhibition asks about the taste, reproduction and status of printed images. It shows how widely distributed motifs can be everyday objects, decoration and cultural history testimonies.
