At ZKM | Zentrum für Kunst und Medien Karlsruhe, the collection exhibition The Story That Never Ends. The ZKM collection shows central positions in media art from the 1950s to today. Around 100 works show how art has evolved with video, light, sound, movement and interactive technologies. The selection is also characterised by restoration issues: works are on display that have not been exhibited for a long time because of their complex preservation. The presentation combines art and technology history with the question of how digital culture can be preserved under conditions of rapid change. The exhibition is on display in Karlsruhe from 5 April 2025 to 21 May 2028.
