In the ZKM | Zentrum für Kunst und Medien Karlsruhe, the Electronic Stroking Zoo opens a media art installation that playfully raises questions about liveliness and artificial behavior. In the foyer, visitors encounter ten robot guinea pigs who react to touch and address. The work is aimed at children and adults alike and invites them to observe the effects of seemingly alive machines. The Electronic Stroking Zoo can be seen in Karlsruhe from 30 November 2025 to 2 August 2026.
