Under the title play, Beate Höing presents a solo exhibition at Galerie Biesenbach featuring works that resist a clear assignment to either painting or sculpture. Her oil paintings are shown together with ceramic objects that also incorporate shards of found porcelain. The show examines how flatness and physical volume, depiction and thing, and the two genres relate to one another.
