In the Schaezlerpalais in Augsburg, the exhibition is dedicated to the illustrator and watercolorist Hermann Fischer on the occasion of his 120th birthday. On display are works that are shaped by the analytical view of architecture, street spaces and their surroundings and at the same time trace Fischer's development as an watercolorist. The show spans the range from early sketches to colourfully fine-tuned leaves created while travelling through Swabia, the Alps, Italy and France. Fischer's role as a teacher at the Augsburg Polytechnic also resonates. The exhibition runs from October 31, 2025 to July 12, 2026.
