The open‑air exhibition Little America – Fotografie Jürgen Schadeberg presents photographs by Jürgen Schadeberg documenting the everyday life of American soldiers in Ludwigsburg, Pattonville and Kornwestheim. Schadeberg photographed the area for the ZEIT Magazin in 1981 over several days; the presentation in the courtyard of the Ludwigsburg Museum im MIK is part of the celebration of the town's partnership with Saint‑Charles (1 July–11 October 2026). The exhibition is open Tue–Sun 10:00–18:00 and offers “Selbstbestimmter Eintritt – Pay what you want!” and views toward the Café Madame Lu terrace.
