Reiner Michelfelder – ars dynografia marks the 120th birthday of graphic artist and photographer Reiner Michelfelder (1906–1985) and focuses on his experimental series “ars dynografia.” The exhibition includes photographs, prints, large-scale wall works and material from the artist’s estate, documenting his exploration of line, grid and dynamic light compositions. It presents his techniques with pen and ink, mirrored reflections and photographic processes using a Polaroid large-format camera, as well as his use of materials such as paper, waxed linen and ceramics. The show also highlights his early collaboration with photographer Peter Keetman in the 1950s.
