In the German Leather Museum in Offenbach am Main, the collection presentation LEDER.WELT.GESCHICHTE. on the occasion of the 100th anniversary shows a concentrated overview of the house's holdings. On the basis of 130 selected objects, the history of the leather as a material between use, design and cultural significance unfolds. The presentation is divided into four themes and combines pieces from different epochs and contexts into new references, creating a dialogue between local leather history, historical collection objects and current ways of dealing with the material.
