In the German Leather Museum in Offenbach am Main, the exhibition is dedicated to the material leather and its long cultural use. The multimedia project space arranges exhibits alphabetically and illustrates the variety of leather, leather-like and alternative materials. Hands-on stations invite you to experience surfaces and differences immediately. At the same time, processing, professions and questions of species protection and sustainability are taken into account. The exhibition combines materials science with a precise view of shape and origin.
