To mark the 200th anniversary of the oldest surviving photograph, the Stadthaus will commemorate Joseph Nicéphore Niépce’s historic view from Saint-Loup-de-Varennes throughout 2026. Residents of Ulm may submit their own black-and-white photographs; one image will be selected and published each month, before all the monthly images are presented together at the end of the year.
