To mark its fortieth anniversary, the international group QuiltArt presents textile works that understand the quilt as an independent means of artistic expression. The works combine traditional and experimental techniques with painting, drawing, printmaking, or computer-controlled embroidery, addressing social issues, family histories, experiences of nature, and the roles of women artists and women.
