In the Museum der Arbeit in Hamburg, the exhibition Franki Raffles. Photography, Activism, Campaign Works is dedicated to the photographic work of the British artist Franki Raffles (1955–1994). On display are works that focus on the realities of women’s lives and work in different regions of the world, combining documentary accuracy with social commitment. Raffles understood photography as a form of political attitude. The exhibition, from June 6 to September 6, 2026 at the Museum der Arbeit, classifies her extensive oeuvre on issues of work, gender and inequality and makes visible how current her perspective has remained.
