The solo exhibition with Shirana Shahbazi is a cooperation with the Kunstmuseum Luczern and will show works from all creative phases of the artist. The Iranian-born artist, trained in Germany and Switzerland, deals in her photographs with the interplay between reality and abstraction, with which she generates visual collages from everyday scenes and color fields. The starting point is always the analogue photographic image, which she tests to its limits with various techniques such as multiple exposure, screen printing or lithography. Shahbazi oriented herself to the classical art-historical genres such as the landscape, the portrait, the still life and often creates references to the history of painting and sculpture, but also to the history of architecture and design.
