In the Von der Heydt Museum in Wuppertal, the collection presentation shows times and spaces. Classics of the collection. Ruisdael to Giacometti a selection of works from the 17th century to the 1960s. The newly ordered show combines paintings and sculptures into a view of art-historical spaces and relationships instead of a strict chronology. On display are works from the main focuses of the house, including positions from Dutch painting to classical modernism. The exhibition runs from 1 January 2026 to 31 May 2027 at Turmhof 8, 42103 Wuppertal and makes the collection accessible in a new form.
