In the Museum Georg Schäfer in Schweinfurt, the themed exhibition Playtime – The Play in Art is dedicated to play as a motif in art and in social thought. It shows how artistic perspectives on rules, chance and strategy unfold and what role fantasy plays in this. The show can be seen from October 11, 2026 to January 10, 2027 in Brückenstraße 20. It combines art-historical approaches with a participatory approach and focuses on the question of how play influences images and perception.
